2021 1 oz Philadelphia Mint American Silver Eagle MintCertified™ Premium Uncirculated | Sealed Tube
Philadelphia mint silver eagles. The Philadelphia Mint may be the most versatile among the US Mint facilities, as it produces several types of American coins. This branch is in charge of circulated and uncirculated coins, which include the American Silver Eagles bullion coins.
Silver Eagles are fundamental pieces for collectors who keep up with each annual strike of American coins. They may also be a sensible option for investors who want to make safe investments in physical bullion to diversify their investment portfolios.
These coins are made of 99.9% fine silver bullion. They are legal tender and IRA-approved, which makes them a worthy long-term investment.
Each of these MintCertified™ tubes houses 20 units of the 2021 American Silver Eagle Type 1 Coins, corresponding to 20 oz of fine silver total.

The American Eagle Coin Series
The US Mint introduced the American Eagle Program in the market in 1986 with a 1 oz Silver Eagle coin, followed by a Gold Eagle Coin in the same year.
In 2021 the Program celebrated its 35 years by releasing a new reverse design to the American Silver Eagle Coin. However, dies for the new reverse design were only ready in mid-year, due to covid restrictions. Therefore, the first coins released that year had the original Heraldic Eagle design on the reverse, and were thus called Type 1 coins.
The Type 1 Design
This depiction features the Heraldic Eagle with open wings around the National Shield. The eagle carries arrows and oak branches in its talons and the banner “E PLURIBUS UNUM” in its beak. The triangulated stars above its head represent the Thirteen Original Colonies.
The inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” arches over the eagle while “1 oz. FINE SILVER,” “ONE DOLLAR,” regarding the coin’s weight, metal content, and face value are on the bottom.
The obverse displays Adolph A. Wenman’s The Walking Liberty as she walks toward the sun rays carrying olive and oak branches. Lady Liberty has the American flag draped on her shoulder and stretches her arm in a welcome sign. “LIBERTY” is inscribed on top, the year of mintage on the bottom, and the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” is on the lower left.
