2023 1/10 oz Australian Kookaburra Platinum Coin

Platinum jubilee coin. The Kookaburra Series from the Perth Mint debuted in 1990 with silver coins in order to compete with other well-established products in the market, such as the American Silver Eagles or the Canadian Silver Maple Leafs.

As the series got more popular, the Perth Mint widened the collection to include gold and a single version of a platinum coin weighin 1/10 Troy ounce.

Contains 1/10 oz of .9995 fine platinum in BU condition;
Holds a face value of $15, backed by the Australian Federal Government;
3rd issue of the Platinum Kookaburra;
Limited strike of 15,000 units
